My wife Gwen and I are saddened to read that Brian has passed.
We both worked with Brian while he was assigned, as a Correction Officer, at the Green Haven Correctional Facility, located in Dutchess County.
Brian was an outstanding Officer, who worked the job as a fair but firm Officer. He looked out for his fellow employees while insuring custody and control of the inmates in his charge.
The job of a Correctional Officer is a stressful job. Quite often employees hold in all their emotions, caused by the daily contact with tense n sometimes violent situations. Eventually they find some way of releasing their stress.
Brian had a great sense of humor and a lasting effect with the employees who worked with him.
We wish to offer condolences to Brian’s family and close friends.
May Brian RIP.
