I met Kate when I worked at the transportation department. I found her funny sharp, tough but very fair as a President. I was very happy she was our Union President. We became closer as she finally convinced me 2 run for President. We enjoyed parties together and having a few drinks and she was a great gal. I am sorry she passed so young.

You were always Kathy to your cousins, never Kate... From growing up next door to each other in Massapequa, to living across the cove on Kinderhook Lake, we are separated for only a short time, just as it always was.
