When I first heard about Carl’s death, I must admit, I was happy for him. When Jesus went to resurrect his friend Lazarus, he compared death to sleep. So Carl has fallen asleep in death. Jesus assured Lazarus’ sisters at John 11: 25 that, “ I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” I look forward to seeing Carl again.
