If I searched my thesaurus for synonyms for the words Joy and Compassion, I am certain that I would find the words « Holly Eberhardt ». Since the early days when our children were young, Holly and Hank have been the most wonderful friends to my family and I. Holly’s warmth, easy smile, and laughter were always like comfort food for the soul. When visiting with Holly and Hank, you could never come away without feeling that strong sense of happiness and connection. I will miss her along with so many others, and I will always smile when I hear her name. Jay Markell

My deepest condolences to Hank & the whole family, I had the pleasure of working with Holly at PIA in accounting, but she was so much more then a coworker to me, she was a very good friend, more like family that I was so lucky to have. She has always been there for not just me, but my daughter Heather. She spent a lot of time tapping into her old nursing skills whenever I struggled with my daughters medical issues & would explain things more so we both understood better and she loved doing that. I have so many fond memories of Holly & she will always hold a Special Place in my heart forever. The world is a better place because Holly was in it and she will be sorely missed.

To Hank, family and friends, I am so very sorry for your loss of Holly. My thoughts and prayers are with you. She was a dear friend to me for the last 21 yrs. Even though we only saw each other once or twice a year, we had such a connection. We would have 4-5 hr dinners and talk about anything and everything. She was such a beautiful soul, was always so brave, and had so much faith. I will really miss her dearly. The first photo is from last December, bowling in Guilderland. Holly is a new friend to me. We met four years ago on a boat ride on the Hudson River. I was immediately taken by her zeal for life, her thoughtfulness for others and her love for Hank and the girls. But mostly for her pure love heart for Jesus- the lover of her soul. Holly- this planet will not be the same without you but it is so much better because of you. Love to you all, Margie Stercho

Karen, I’m so sorry for you & your families loss. I worked with your mom at PIA & sat right next to her for many years. She was very special to me & will be sorely missed. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful pictures of your mother. She had a such a beautiful soul & loved her family deeply.
