For eleven of my fifteen years as an administrator in the Ichabod Crane School District Pat was my administrative assistant, first in the Office of Special Education and later in the High School. Without her, I never could have done my job in the way we both thought it should be done. We shared times of difficulty, many moments of real laughter, and a friendship based on both our professional and personal lives. I am so very glad after Pat retired she was able to spend wonderful times here and in Florida with the family that meant the world to her. I also am sure her extended family at Ichabod Crane, including the hundreds of students for whom she shared care, would want to say thank you, Mrs. McCauley. Rest easy with your beloved parents, Pat, knowing you really did live your best life. Much love, Linda Collett

John, Scott, Denise and family; we are heart broken at Pat's passing. You all made her final months as comfortable and loving as possible. Pat had one of the largest hearts of anyone we know and was truly a good person. She was always upset by inhumanity she saw and actively sought to help others. She was a role model for all who knew her. Pat's legacy will live on in you and your children.We have so many fun memories of game nights, barbeques, and just talks in the road. I was lucky enough to know Pat and really enjoyed her quick wit. We spent many hours at the pool where we did puzzles together. I also was in the middle of teaching her to play canasta.
