Elizabeth A. "Liz" Van Alstyne, 72, of Stuyvesant Falls, NY, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at Pine Haven Home.
Born September 30, 1947 in Hudson, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Wilhelmena (Herbs) Goodman. Liz was a bookkeeper at Barnwell Nursing Home for many years.
She is survived by her husband: Wayne C. Van Alstyne, two sons: William Van Alstyne (Elizabeth Naccarato) of Stuyvesant Falls, NY and Glenn Van Alstyne (Christina) of Indianapolis, IN, two sisters: Carolyn Reinhart of Stockport, NY and Peggy Terwilliger of Stuyvesant Falls, NY and a granddaughter, Isabella Van Alstyne.
Funeral services will be private for her family. There will be no calling hours. For those who wish, contributions, in her memory, may be made to the Valatie Rescue Squad, P.O. 242, Valatie, NY 12184. Arrangements are under the direction of the Raymond E. Bond Funeral, Valatie.
