Obituary of Frances M. Wemple

Frances Marie Wemple, 86, formerly of Canaan, NY died Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Citrus Memorial Hospital in Florida. Frances lived and worked for many years at Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth in Canaan. She was a driver and secretary. Following their retirement, Frances and her husband Bob, traveled throughout the United States for many years visiting family and making friends before settling in Florida. She was an avid gardener, excellent cook, creative crafter and lover of classic country music. The daughter of the late Bernard and Gladys Grueber, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert, having been married for over 65 years, and her sister Bertha. Frances is survived by her four children: Gary Wemple (Linda), Tina Sharpe (Curtis), Linda Etue (William), Paul Wemple (Robyn); six grandchildren, Jennifer and William Etue, Heather (Wemple) Kelly, Elizabeth (Wemple) Link, Christine Wemple and Rachel Puckett; eight great grandchildren; Felicite and Landon Etue; Ryan, Carter and Addison Link; Carson and Harlow Kelly; and Jase Ordway as well as several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Her Aunt Eleanor Wood also survives her. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home in Valatie, NY.
