Obituary of Marion T. Sitcer

Marion T. Sitcer, 76, of Valatie, NY, passed away on August 16, 2024 at the comfort of her home. Born on July 29, 1948 on Long Island, she was the daughter of the late Anna and Henry Loeffler. Before retiring, Marion was a seamstress before their closing at Rielly's Mill, Valatie and a health aid at Barnwell Nursing Home, Valatie. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ralph C. Sitcer; four children, Therisa (Kevin) VanAllen, Lisa (James) Krupa, Michael (Barbara) Sitcer and Ralph (Robin) Sitcer; sisters, Barbara Nero and Joan Kelly; brothers, Joe and Jack Loeffler; grandchildren, Lauryn and Ryan Krupa, Ashley and Keith Sitcer, Michael Sitcer Jr. and Brian Sitcer; great grandchildren, Hailey and Harley Sitcer and Kya and Khloe Wolf. Marion is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she is also predeceased by three siblings, Mary Herber and George and Henry Loeffler. Friends are invited and may call at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie from 10 -12 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2024 with her funeral to follow at 12 PM. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Valatie, NY. Contributions in her name may be made to the Valatie Fire Department, POB 473, Valatie, NY 12184
