Obituary of Arnold Frederick Hamm

Arnold Frederick "Fred" "Trapper" Hamm, 67, of Kinderhook, NY, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 surrounded by his family at his home. Born on December 1, 1956 in Hudson, NY, he was the son of Arnold F. and Frances I. (Cramer) Hamm. Fred worked at many jobs over the years, including Debrino Caulking and Fred's Painting and Repair but he was most known as a major, local firewood supplier based in Kinderhook, NY. He enjoyed the outdoor life of hunting, fishing and trapping. He is survived by his long term partner, Loretta Kenzel; daugther, Mandy Hamm; sister, Charlene (Hamm) Davis (Charles Davis); grandchildren, Jonathan Swart, Kaitlyn Talarico and Ian Stevenson. Fred is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his siblings, Kenneth "Bubby" Hamm, Donna "Dodie" Hamm and Debbie (Hamm) Carter. Friends are invited and may call at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie from 10 - 11:30AM, Friday, August 9, 2024 with funeral services beginning at 11:30 AM with Rev. Nick Becker officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Valatie, NY. Contributions may be made to Columbia/ Greene Hospice.
