Obituary of Christopher L. Nooney

Christopher L. Nooney, 35, of North Chatham, NY, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024. He was born on January 18, 1989, in Albany, NY. Christopher was known for his heart of gold and great sense of humor. He had a deep passion for music and a love for animals of all kinds, especially wolves. An avid sports fan, he cherished watching college basketball, with March Madness being his favorite time of year, a tradition he enjoyed sharing with his mother. He worked as a mechanic at Tony Scott Auto in East Greenbush, where he formed close bonds with his co-workers, whom he considered brothers. Christopher will be deeply missed by his mother, Bonnie R. Nooney of North Chatham, NY; his aunt and uncles, Ed and JoAnn Rouse of Atlanta, GA, Brian and Maryann Rouse of Clifton Park, NY, Jay and Beth Rouse of Virginia, Jeff and Tammy Rouse of North Chatham, NY and Aaron and Beth Rouse of Virginia. He is also survived by several cousins and nephews. In addition to his father, Bruce, he was also predeceased by his half-sister, Tara Hughes and his grandparents, Ed and Avril Rouse and Lyle and Jeannine Nooney. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
