What a wonderful man. I was able to call Dave my Uncle late in my life but so I fortunate I got the chance. He was my mother's brother that was adopted out as a baby. Met him at my home in a unique encounter in the Adirondacks. What a day! I will never forget our shock and our surprise that led to "family" Several conversations over the phone and a nice visit at his house with his wife Diane. I am so sorry Diane to learn of your loss. To the children & yourself I wish to extend my deepest condolences. May he fly high with the angels.

I will miss your cheerful presence at the Lodge & as part of the 4 o'clock club. So enjoyed our conversations about cars...now who's gonna call me StickShift & ask about Mustang Sally?
Heaven will be a little brighter with your star!
Til we meet again,
Sharon

Dad raised us boys during a very difficult time in his life. But that didn't stop Dad in teaching us valuable lessons and instilling great values. We learned to be respectful of others and have a strong work ethic. I will forever miss our weekly phone calls. His advice and approval ment the world to me. I love you Dad and will live the rest of my life to make you proud of me.

I was a neghbor to Dave on Fischer Road Kinderhook until I moved to Georgia in 1973.
We had lots of good experiences and memories of motorcycle rides and snowmobiling in years gone by.
Everything I learned about automobile body repair I learned from Dave when he was Omi Automotive. He just loved the Oldsmobile Vista Cruisers back in the day. Oh ... I remember his Studebaker Hawk. The only one in town.
Even after I moved South we kept in touch, and I would visit with him whenever I made a trip back North to visit my family. That last visit was September 2023.
Dave was a real good friend. One in a million.
You will be missed, but not forgotten.
Rest In Peace.
