Maureen was my neighbor, soon after meeting in the hallway we became friends. Early on when I was new to our building she left a sweet bouquet in one of her lovely little China pitchers at my door making me feel welcome and cared about. We’d shared recipes, sewing projects, exchanged goodies, her pesto was unbelievably delicious and sometimes had lunch on my balcony, we talked, shared our stories and I will miss her very much. Maureen was a strong brave and courageous womyn, she was my friend.

Maureen was my friend for 56 years. We met a college and have been friends ever since. We Just clicked!- even though I moved to California at age 22 ,we have remained in touch on and off all this time. I saw Maureen when she lived in New Mexico and Arizona. Tight together friendship like sister was still there. I will really really miss her and to soft-spokeness. She was truly talented and a wonderful friend -bye Reen you will be missed!
