Marilyn M. Starker Obituary

Marilyn M (Welfinger) Starker, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Valatie, NY. She was born and educated in Albany. She was the daughter of the late William and Emma (Hart) Welfinger. Marilyn was a homemaker for years before working and retiring from St. Peter's Hospital after 20 plus years. Marilyn is survived by her children, Patricia (Brian) Loucks, Russell (Virginia) Starker, and Gregory (Annette) Starker, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and Rusty (Wendy) Bascom who was like a son to her. She was predeceased by her brother, William Welfinger, sisters Shirley Gresens, Emma Burnett, and Joan Grattan. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be sent to Valatie Rescue Squad or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
