Obituary of Patricia A. Morrison

Patricia Ann Morrison, age 78, passed away peacefully January 14, 2024 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Catskill to Marion and Frederick Searing on February 28, 1945, Pat grew up in Schodack before she met and married her husband and settled down in Kinderhook where they resided for the past 50 years. Patricia was a fun-loving friend to many whose home and a seat at her kitchen table were always open to friends old and new. During her life she took up many activities ranging from doll collecting to earning a belt in tae kwon do alongside her son, baking renowned cheesecakes, enthusiastically yardsaling, researching her indigenous ancestry, and joining a bowling league - all while delighting in beautifying her home with seasonal décor. She always had a kind word to share, or a compliment to offer, to show her unwavering love and support for those she held near and dear. Left to treasure her memory are her devoted husband of nearly 60 years, Creighton, their son Craig (Grace), former daughter-in-law Lauren, and grandchildren Chase, Lainey, and Kyla, her brother Louis (Jane), nieces, and many cherished, lifelong friends. Calling hours will be held Friday, January 19 from 9-11am with a memorial service at 11am at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home in Valatie, NY. Burial will follow in the Kinderhook Cemetery.
