Obituary of Kathleen Helen Eschberger

Kathleen Helen Eschberger, 64, of Valatie, NY passed away on January 14, 2024 in Albany, NY. Born on July 3, 1959 in Hudson, NY, she was the daughter of the late Geraldine and Howard Gibbons. She was a graduate of Ichabod Crane Central School in Valatie and earned a degree in Nursing from SUNY Delhi. Before her retirement, she worked as a Nurse for Special Needs in Hudson, NY. Kathleen is survived by her husband, Frank A. Eschberger; a son, Frank W. (Tanya) Eschberger; her siblings, Deborah (Allen) Qua and Howard (AnnMarie) Gibbons, Jr.; her 3 grandchildren, Brady W. and Jace R. Eschberger and Alison L. Johnstone; 3 nieces, Emily (Giovanni) Ponce, Rebecca and Hope Gibbons and her nephew, John A. Qua. Funeral services will be 12 PM, Thursday at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie. Calling hours will be from 10-12 PM. Burial will follow in the Kinderhook Cemetery, Kinderhook, NY. Donation may be made to the Valatie Rescue Squad, Valatie, NY or the Albany Medical Center's Emergency Department, Albany, NY.
