Obituary of Vern Forrest Dunn

Vern Forrest Dunn, 67, of Philmont, NY, passed away on December 01, 2023 peacefully at home due to untreated hypertension. Vern was born in Brooklyn, NY to (Woody) Forrest Dunn and Antonia (Corso-Rossano) Dunn on June 28, 1956. He attended school in Rockaway Beach, Queens, NY. Vern is survived by his daughter, Sophia Dunn of Valatie, NY, his son Casey Dunn of PA, his sisters Barbara (Raymond) Terwilliger of WV, Genevieve Rossano of SC, Cindy (Scott) Evans of SC, and his brother Joseph Dunn of CA. He is also leaves his nieces, Kelly and Jessie, his nephew Cody, and his great nephew and niece, Luke and Letty. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Pastor Bob Costello of Rock Solid Church and Rabbi Barry of Jezreel International. Memorial donations can be made to his daughters missionary fund. Calling hours will be held in Valatie, NY at Raymond E Bond Funeral Home on December 16, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00. A service will immediately follow with Pastor Jaron Halsted of Rock Solid Church officiating.
