Sylvia E. Miner, 87, of Valatie, NY, passed away on November 24, 2023 at the Pinehaven Nursing Home in Philmont, NY. Born on November 27, 1935 in Taghkanic, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Verity) and Nelson Burch and the husband of the late Jack Miner.
She is survived by her children, Courtney J. Miner (Paula) and Roy Miner (Trina), all of Valatie; her grandchildren, Mindy Miner (Scott Rodgers) and Jenifer Miner and her great grandchild, Riley Miner Rodgers.
Funeral services will be private for the family. Donations can be made to the Columbia Greene Humane Society, 111 Humane Society Road, Hudson, NY 12534
