The loving and appreciative family of Lillian A Wilcox sadly announce her passing on Wednesday October 11, at her home in Kinderhook with her husband and all her children at her side. She had bravely and with grace been dealing with the effects of a stroke suffered this past January. Lillian was born and grew up in Cobleskill NY. Her parents were Burton and Lela Vrooman. The couple made their home in Albany, then Delmar before settling in the Kinderhook area. Lillian was an avid reader and took great pleasure in her collection of books. She also enjoyed attending to her garden. She loved her family and was a source of courage, and an example of strength and values to her five daughters. She was a fully committed partner, friend and best earthly companion to her fortunate husband. She is survived by her husband Dale, her five daughters Sara (Anthony), Abby (Salvatore), Mandy (Gerard), Emily (Brian), Elizabeth (Ryan) and 14 beautiful grandchildren.
