Obituary of Patricia Ann Alecksynas

Patricia "Patti" Ann Aleckysnas of Niverville, NY, went home to Jesus on Monday September 25th, 2023. Patti was born in New York City, daughter to Donald E. and Frances W. Wilson on Feb 21st, 1949 Patti was a loving and dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother (Meme extraordinaire) and Great Grandmother, creating memories with all that will last a lifetime. Her biggest goal in life was making sure her family and those around her knew Jesus, and she shared Him with all that she knew. In addition, Patti had a compassion for people; she spent her career taking care of others as an RN and Case Manager at St. Peter's Hospital where she worked for 29 years. Patti carried her compassion over to her personal life where she volunteered collections for the Capital City Rescue Mission, Code Blue Shelters, Aided Firefighters during 9-11, participated in many missionary trips including Africa and Mexico, and was an active member of Christian Community Church of Stuyvesant. Patti enjoyed many things in life. She had a love for animals and owned everything from horses, pigs, ducks, chickens, goats, and much more. Patti had a love for travel and enjoyed cruises with her family, trips to exotic places and ending her summers with the family enjoying the ocean on Cape Cod. She had a love for live music and went to all the Irish festivals, and loved the Beatles. During her passing, Patti was surrounded by her family with love and survived by her husband of 10 years, Mike; her 4 children; Pam, Gary, Christa and Patty; her 12 grandchildren, Danny, Jake, Steven, Julianna, Jenna, Caileigh, Amaya, Bill, Crew, Ariana, Timothy and Amehia and 7 great grandchildren with the 8th expected in January. Patti was loved greatly and will be missed by many. Funeral services to be held on Saturday, October 7th at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook Street, Valatie NY 12184 with calling hours from 10-12 and service from 12-1pm. A celebration of life will be held at 2pm at Christian Community Church. 2170 US-9, Kinderhook, NY 12106. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made in her name to American Diabetes Center.
