Susan Vona, 65, of Kinderhook, passed away on May 26, 2023 at her home. Born on August 21, 1957 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Mary E. Zessin and the wife of Tom Mahoney. She was a graduate of Albany High School and a self-employed bookkeeper. Besides her husband, Tom, she is also survived by her daughter, Wendy (Thom) Williamson of Gray, Georgia; her sister, Edna Madeline of Valatie; her niece, Maryann Madeline of Valatie; and her partner-in-crime, Faith (Chris) Cozzy of Selkirk. Besides her parents, Susan is also predeceased by her brother , Karl Zessin. Funeral services will be 12:30 PM, Friday at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie. Visitation will be from 12 - 12:30 PM.
