Obituary of Amaya Lurline Clarke

Amaya L. Clarke, also known as "Mymy", passed away unexpectedly at home in Chatham, NY on May 4th, 2023 at the age of 22. Amaya was born on May 12th, 2000 in Hudson NY to Patricia A. Clarke and Garth Clarke. Amaya attended Ichabod Crane High School and graduated in 2018. Shortly after graduating high school she became a mother to Savannah A. Skarzynski in 2019. She was a hard worker obtaining her CNA, and worked as one for many years. Amaya was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin and friend. She was a kind soul who'd be there for anyone at any time. She was always having fun with friends and family. Whether it was lake days or family vacations, Amaya was the life of the party and always met you with a smile and a smoke. Amaya was a lover of all kinds of music. She could always be found singing and dancing with the love of her life and daughter Savannah. Amaya is described to be empathetic, sweet natured, smart and kind. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Amaya is survived by her mother Patricia A Clarke of Niverville, NY; daughter, Savannah A. Skarzynski, ; siblings, Andre, Ariana and Ameiha Clarke of Niverville,NY. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, and many cousins and friends. Amaya is predeceased by Savannah's father Kris Skarzynski (2022). A service for Amaya is scheduled for May 11th from 5-7pm at Bonds Funeral home, Valatie. All are welcome to attend to celebrate the life of Amaya.
