Obituary of Lina M. Logan

Lina M. "Mae" Logan, 98, of Schodack Landing, passed away at the Columbia Memorial Hospital, Hudson on March 20, 2023. Born on February 8, 1925 in Blue Ridge, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Cash W. and Mary Lee (Fralin) Woolrige and the wife of the late George Logan. Before her retirement, she was a restaurant worker on the NYS Thruway for many years. She was a member of the Clearview Alliance Church in Schodack. She is survived by 3 daughters, Nina Sokol (Paul) of Valatie, Nancy Doyle (Joe) of Chatham and Nellie Campbell of Valatie; 2 brothers, Elmer and Roy Woolrige both of Virginia; 6 grandchildren, Raymond and Kevin Sokol, Maureen Behrens, Patrick and Joanne Doyle and Amy Abu Saleh; 7 great grandchildren and her special friend, Jeff MacCormack. Besides her husband and parents, Lina is also predeceased by her sister, Lena Gish, her brother, Wordie Woolrige and her grandson, Thomas Doyle. Calling hours will be Monday, March 27, 2023 from 10 - 12 PM at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie. Funeral services will follow at 12PM with the Rev. Nick Becker officiating. Burial will be in the Firwood Cemetery, Stuyvesant.
