Obituary of Betty L. Foss

Betty L. Foss, 94, of Hudson, passed away at the Pinehaven Nursing Home, Philmont on February 27, 2023. Born in Spring Hill, West Virginia on September 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Maysel (Barker) Hill and the wife of the late Charles J. Foss. Before her retirement, Betty was a Clerk for 12 years for the Columbia County Board of Supervisors, Hudson then went on to work part time for the Health Care Consortium, Hudson for 13 years. She is survived by her children, Lori (Don) Grinbalsky of Salem, NY and Timothy Laurange of Niverville; her siblings, William Hill of Raritan, NJ and Jane Hill of South Bound Brook, NJ; her grandchildren, Nathan and Jillique Laurange as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be 10-12 PM, Monday at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie. Funeral Services will be at 12 PM with Rev. Dan Cohn officiating. Burial will follow at the Ghent Union Cemetery. Contributions in Betty's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
