Obituary of Linda Lee Dickson

Linda Lee Dickson, 75, of Valatie, NY, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023. Born September 19, 1947 in Glen Cove, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Harriet (Grimm) Bachman and the wife of the late George R. Dickson. Before her retirement, Linda was a Teacher at the Lindenhurst Junior High School in Lindenhurst, NY. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stuyvesant. She loved Scrapbooking, Cardmaking, puzzles, the New York Yankees, spending time with her family, donating her time to church activities and the St. Lukes's Lutheran Church Woman's Group, Valatie. Linda is survived by her children, Janine (Rick) Lawrence of Valatie, Crista (Jose) Roman of Niverville and Heather Dickson of Valatie; her sister, Heidi Bender of Fairpont, NY and her six grandchildren, Noah Malmborg, Adam Lawrence, Devin, Alaines "Ali", Layla and Benjamin Roman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, she is also predeceased by her sister, Barbara Slater and two brothers, Kenneth and Richard Bachman. Friends are invited for calling hours, 1-3 and 6-8 PM, Thursday in the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie. Funeral Services will be 11 AM , Friday in St. John's Church, Stuyvesant with the Rev.
