Obituary of Cheryl A. Gaylord

Cheryl A. Gaylord, 67, of Ghent, NY, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. Born November 22, 1955 in Nanuet, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Amelia (Eigo) McNamee. Cheryl was part of the Neighborhood Watch in Philmont and a Past President of the Philmont Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She loved spending time, most of all, with her grandchildren. She is survived by three children, Jason Gaylord of Ghent, Danielle Holloway (Anthony) of Purling, NY, and Kimberly Gaylord of Ghent, three sisters, Cathy Papo of Florida, Marie Grant of Pleasant Valley, NY and Susan Gardner of Salt Point, NY, 4 grandchildren, Scotty Gaylord, Jason Gaylord Jr., Little Zacharah Johnson, Markus Holloway, several nieces and nephews and her brother-in-law Edward Gaylord. She was predeceased by her husband Mark S. Gaylord. Visitation hours will be Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 3-5 pm at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie.
