Obituary of Bonnie J. Van Steenburg

Bonnie J. Van Steenburg, 72, of Valatie, NY, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at her home. Born February 1, 1950 in Hudson, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Cramer) Shaw. Bonnie worked for Rielly Mills in Valatie for a time and after retiring from there was a self-employed Housekeeper. She was an avid Elvis fan.. She is survived by two daughters, Traci Dugan (Jake) of Valatie and Cammie Fix (Rob) of Niverville, two sisters, Patricia Blakesley of Virginia and Charlene Davis of North Carolina, four grandchildren, Kayla and Nicholas Dugan, Sierra and Dakota Jennings, 5 great grandchildren, Autym, Natalynn, Hensley, Rickey and Aubree. She was predeceased by her loving husband Benjamin "Skate" Van Steenburg. Funeral Services will be held 6:00 pm on Monday, October 24 at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie, with Rev. Nick Becker officiating. Visitation hours will be Monday, October 24 from 3-6 pm prior to the service.
