Obituary of Patricia F. Ether

Patricia Frances Ether, 78 of Claverack, NY, passed away on September, 23, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Patricia was born in Woodbourne, NY to Victor J. Higgins and Katherine Higgins Barnwell on March, 15th 1944. She worked for O. D. Heck in Castleton, NY as Direct Support for the clients for seven years. Patricia is survived by her husband Joseph G. Ether of Claverack, NY, sons Joseph C. Ether, Stephen Ether, daughter Theresa Hoffman, five sisters, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers John, Joseph and Richard Higgins, Sister Katherine Higgins and grandson Brian Webster. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Jessica from The Community Hospice. Donations can be made to The Community Hospice in lieu of flowers. Funeral service will be held at Raymond E Bond Funeral home in Valatie, NY on Wednesday, September 28th at 2:00pm. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Stockport, NY. Reception to follow at St. John's in Valatie, NY.
