Obituary of Patricia Ann (Ray) Ouellette

Patricia Ann (Ray) Ouellette, age 78 of Dothan, Alabama was born into eternal life March 20, 2021 at her home in Freeport, Florida after an extended illness. Pat was born July 19, 1942 in Beacon, New York, the daughter of William J. (Bill) and Marion E. (Williams) Ray. She grew up in Niverville, New York and was a graduate of Ichabod Crane High School, class of 1960. Her greatest goal in life was to be a wife and mother, and she accomplished both with unfathomable love. She was a talented and gifted baker who enjoyed sharing her baked goods with family, friends, co-workers, and residents at Westside Terrace Healthcare where she worked as scheduling coordinator for the nursing staff until her retirement in 2012. To all who knew her, Pat was simply and affectionately known as "Gram." She was deeply loved and respected by everyone whose life she touched. Pat is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Roger L. Ouellette, her parents Bill and Marion Ray, her brother William J. Ray, Jr., and her nephew William P. Conrad. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Conrad of Daleville, AL; two daughters and their husbands, Kimberly (Ouellette) and Harry Jonathan McAllister of Dothan, AL and Kendra (Ouellette) and Eddie Henderson of Freeport, FL; three grandchildren, Jessica Marsh, Alex Lints, and Amanda (Joey) Thomley; one great-granddaughter, Savannah Thomley, all of Dothan, AL; several nieces and nephews, and many, many special friends. Graveside memorial and interment will be held 2 PM, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetary, Rt. 203 in Valatie, NY with Chaplain Eddie J. Henderson presiding.
