Obituary of Thomas D. Casey

Thomas D. Casey, 58, of Rensselaer, NY, died Friday, July 30, 2021 at his home. Born February 22, 1963 in Hudson, NY, he was the son of Betty Yakman (Casey). Tom was a Toll Collector for the New York State Thruway Authority and was a truck driver for BAC sales in Ghent for a time. He was a former 25 year member of the Stuyvesant Fire Co. He is survived by his wife Penny (Bittorf) Casey of Kinderhook, a son Thomas Casey of Kinderhook and a daughter Alicia Casey of Florida. He was also survived by three sisters, Becky Casey, Nicole Lipinski, Kelly Casey and several nieces', nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 8th, 2021, 6-8pm at the Raymond E Bond Funeral Home, Valatie, NY. In lieu of flowers or for those who wish, contributions may be made to the Stuyvesant Fire Company No 1, 194 Rt 26A, Stuyvesant, NY 12173.
