A. Charles "Charlie" Lafferty passed away peacefully on 7/14/21. He was born March 17, 1937 in Hudson, NY to the late Arthur and Queen Elizabeth (Fowler) Lafferty. He started his working life on the Mills Farm, Abraham Van Alstyne @ AV Pump and Tank, Flack Industries, Fort Orange Mill and ultimately ending his life's work on Dutch Hollow farm. He was a member of the Palmer Engine & Hose Co. of Kinderhook for 50 years. Charlie loved racing at Lebanon Valley Speedway or watching NASCAR and Formula1 races on rainy weekends. His favorite actors were John Wayne and Carroll O'Conner (Archie Bunker). He is survived by his wife, Beverly; a daughter, Maureen Cooley (Ralph); a son, Patrick Lafferty (Tracey); two granddaughters, Angela Narzynski (Cory) & Caroline Lafferty; three grandsons, Matthew Narzynski (Becca), Christian Lafferty, and Jacob Lafferty; two great-grandsons, Carter and CJ and two sisters, Patricia Bray and Joan Holsapple. Charlie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; three step-children, Thomas Wheeler (Cristal), Kimberly Karle (Chris), and Michelle Wilson (Robert); four step-granddaughters, Riley, Zoe, Erin, & Abbie. Charlie was predeceased by his Uncle, Floyd Lafferty and a sister, Bernice Flomsbee. There will be visitation from 5-7pm on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie NY. Funeral services will be 10am on Monday July 19 at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Valatie NY with Rev. Ed Harkins officiating. Burial will follow at Kinderhook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the following: The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S.
