Obituary of Christy L. Kellerhouse

Christy L. Kellerhouse, 41, of Greenport, NY, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at her home. Born June 5, 1980 in Hudson, NY, she was the daughter of Guy and Janis (Barbeau) Graziano of Valatie NY. Christy was a hair stylist at Mane Street for the past 12 years. She had a passion for hair, as evidenced by her ever changing style and color. One never knew what color hair she would have when she greeted you! Christy had a love for music, animals and above all else her family and friends. A devoted daughter, she was always making sure that her parents were in good health and spirits. She considered it her job to make sure that both were in fact, true. She was a loving wife to her husband, Ken. Christy felt that meeting and marrying Ken was the best thing to ever happen to her. She had just begun her journey as a mother to their son Wyatt, making him her focus and direction the past two and a half years. As a devoted sister and aunt, she was known for her loud laugh, quick sarcasm and big, engulfing hugs. Christy will be remembered by all that knew her for her wit, her fierce loyalty and her warm smile. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband: Kenny Kellerhouse, her son Wyatt Kellerhouse a sister: Lisa Cordero (Jerome) of Brightwaters, NY and their children William and Nicholas, mother-in-law Karen Kellerhouse, brother-in-law Michael Kellerhouse (Angela) and their children Sydney and Alex and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 15, 2021, 11:00am, at St. John the Baptist Church in Valatie. Burial will follow in West Ghent Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 2021 from 4-8pm at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie.
