Keegan, 87, of Kinderhook, NY, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home. Born January 10, 1934 in Spencertown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Florence (Westover) Whiteman. Louise was a graduate of Chatham High School and was Vice President and Bookkeeper for Keegan Brothers Inc. in Kinderhook. She was a member of the Hook Boat Club and it's auxiliary in Stuyvesant. She is survived by her husband of 66 years James H. Keegan Jr. 4 children, Jamie Keegan, Patrick Keegan (Cindy Wied), Mary Cavagnaro (David) and Kevin Keegan, seven grandchildren; Michael Keegan (Rebecca Berlin), Michelle Yauger (Matthew), David Cavagnaro Jr.,(Andrea Britt), Jonathon Cavagnaro (Krista Samascott), Daniel Cavagnaro ( Kelli Powell), Carlin and Patrick Keegan, eight great grandchildren; Mitchell, Tyler, Samantha, Trevor, Cody, Aidan, Madison and Landon, one great granddaughter, Aurora, nieces and nephews, Gary, Richard, Peggy, Edward, Susan, Paul, Jill, David Jr., Karen, Timothy, John and Terrance, brother in law Edward Keegan (Eugenia) and sister in law Janet Ritz (David) She was predeceased by her daughter in law Linda Padula, a sister Virginia Williams and a brother Edward Whiteman. Funeral services will be private for the family. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie.
