Obituary of Marion L. Goodrich

Marion (Barden) Goodrich, age 93, passed away January 25, 2021 at Columbia Memorial Hospital following a two week battle with Covid 19 virus. Marion was born January 17, 1928 in Spencertown, N.Y. the daughter of the late Elvin and Mrytle (Westover) Barden. Marion attended Chatham Central School and was a communicant of St. Peter's Presbyterian Church in Spencertown. She was a member of the Tri-Village Senior Group and the Chatham-Ghent Seniors. Marion was predeceased by her husband Lloyd K. Goodrich in 1992. She was also predeceased by her siblings Harold Barden, Irene Skinner, Edwin Barden, and Clara Yerick. Marion is survived by five children Donald Goodrich Sr., Margaret (Frank) Pino, Stephen (Rhonda) Goodrich, Richard Goodrich, and Jon (Ginger) Goodrich; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend Betty Dallas. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2021, 1:00PM at St. Peters Cemetery in Spencertown, NY. Please practice social distancing and wear masks at the cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Columbia-Greene Humane Society or St. Peter's Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home.
