Gordon E. Mieske, 74, of Kinderhook, NY, passed away Jul 22, 2026 in Albany, NY surrounded by family. Gordon was born in Hudson, NY to Edward L. Mieske JR and Lillian M. Mieske (Rothermel) on May 10,1952. He went to Ichabod Crane High School - class of 1970. He retired from Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 7 in 2006.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Mardee Mieske of 38 years; his children, Shane Mieske (Brady Christensen) , Chelsea Krambeck (Tyler Krambeck) and Stosh Mieske; his sisters, Marlene Mieske, Karen Meyer and Laura Herbert; his granddaughters, Isabelle Krambeck and Flynn Christensen and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward L. Mieske Jr. and Lillian M. Mieske (Rothermel). The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Medical Staff at St. Peter's, Albany, NY.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8th at 3pm at the Mieske Mountain Farm, 41 Mieske Road, Kinderhook, NY for Friends and Family.
