Jean I. Bruce (Rudolph), 82, of Kinderhook, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Philmont, NY.

Jean was born in Chicago, IL to Robert and Laura Kelley on July 31, 1943. She was adopted by Ingaborg and Helmut Rudolph. She attended Hudson City School District and graduated in 1962. She went on to Nurses training and worked at Columbia Memorial Hospital for a number of years. She retired from Questar III in Castleton, NY after 17 years of service.

Jean is survived by her children, Raymond Bruce, Patricia Ogden (David), Jeanette Snyder (Brud) and George Bruce Jr (Teraesa). She is also survived by her brothers, Scott Wells and Robert Rudolph and 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George Bruce Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 10:30am at St. John's Lutheran Church, Ct Rt 26A in Stuyvesant, NY with Deacon Ed Kleinke officiating. Interment will be at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Stuyvesant, NY.
