Linda Ann Bodratti, 70, of Valatie, New York, passed away after a long illness on March 14, 2026, in her home surrounded by family.

Linda was born in Manhattan, NYC to Stefanie and Michael Babij on June 24, 1955. She graduated from Andress High School in El Paso, Texas in 1973. Linda started her career as a legal secretary at Carpenter and Keefe Law Firm in Cairo, New York. Shortly thereafter, she embarked on a decades-long career with the United States Postal Service until her retirement in 2013. Linda enjoyed a variety of activities, both with family and on her own. She found joy in hosting family gatherings (the more appetizers, the better), caring for her beloved rescue dogs and cats, nurturing her gardens, and reading a good book. Every week throughout the summer months, she looked forward to picking out fresh flowers at the local farmer's market to brighten our home. Linda also took great pleasure in baking dozens of Christmas cookies each year to share with family and friends. Above all, she treasured her peaceful morning and evening walks on the beach in Avalon, NJ, a cherished tradition during our annual summer vacation. She was a prolific blood donor throughout her life – one of many quiet acts of service.

Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Bodratti, of Valatie; her daughter, Lisa (Kyle) Kline; son, Andrew (Veena) Bodratti; granddaughter, Laura Bodratti; and sisters Elizabeth (Ronald) Rich and Barbara (Barbara) Babij. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael; mother, Stefanie; and brother, Karl Babij.
