John Louis Conte, 95, of Hudson, NY, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026.

Born on December 14, 1930, in Hudson, NY, he was the son of the late John O. Conte and Anna (Caggiola). John pursued higher education and earned his bachelor's degree. John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged for his service. He went on to work for IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY, where he was employed as an Engineering Specialist until his retirement. He was respected for his commitment to excellence throughout his career.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Ann (Martino), son, Joe Conte of Hudson, NY, along with several nieces and nephews who will remember him with love.

Friends are invited and may call from 10:00 to 11:30 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Route 9, Valatie, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Joseph, Route 9, Stuyvesant Falls, NY. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Route 9, Stuyvesant Falls, NY.
