Robert William (Bob) Sundheim, 81, of Hudson, NY, passed away on February 2, 2026, at Albany Medical Center.

Bob was born in the Bronx, NY, to Charles William and Ingrid Johanna (Syring) Sundheim on November 24, 1944. He was raised in NYC and graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School and later SUNY Delhi. He went on to work as a Parts Representative across NYS for Ford Motor Company, then owned the Fairview Lincoln Mercury car dealership in Hudson, and ended his career as a representative for various Ford dealerships at regional car auctions. For vacations, he enjoyed his cabin and boat on Lake Pleasant, waterskiing with his friends every day possible, until only a few years ago.

Bob is survived by his children, Amy Hathaway (Bill) of Freeville, NY, and Catherine Peck of Chatham, NY; his granddaughters, Myla and Kinsley Peck; his sister-in-law, Anita Sundheim of Byram, NJ; his nephew Eric Sundheim (Amy) of Homer, AK; and his niece Jennifer Sundheim of Tacoma, WA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlene (Bensen); his parents; his brother, Charles Edward Sundheim; and his niece, Carolyn (Sundheim) Nystrom.

A Memorial Service will be held in July in Speculator, NY. Burial will follow at Airdville Cemetery in Lake Pleasant, NY. Raymond E.
