Robert T. Leach Obituary

Robert T. Leach (Bob), 94, of Stuyvesant, NY, passed away on January 3, 2026 in Hudson, New York. Bob was born in Columbiaville, NY to Helena May O'Brien Leach and Walter J. Leach on September 27, 1931.



He graduated in 1950 from Martin Van Buren High School and worked over 40 years in the Signal Department for the railroad.



Bob was a Life Member of the Stuyvesant Fire Company joining in 1962. He was also a member of the Elks Club and a Life Member of the Glencadia Rod and Gun Club. Bob, along with his wife, Charlene, volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program.



Bob was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoying hunting, fishing, boating and relaxing at their family camps on the Hudson River and Lake Champlain.



Robert was predeceased by his wife, Charlene A. Hogan Leach as well as his brothers, Jack, Harold and Jerome Leach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held from 9-10:30AM, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook St., Valatie, NY 12184 followed by an 11AM


Mass of Christian. Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, 1025 Kinderhook Street, Valatie, NY 12184. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rt. 9, Stuyvesant Falls, NY.
