Christoper stark Jones, 60, of Valatie NY passed away on November 22, 2025.

Chris was born in Wilkes-Barre PA to Stark G. Jones and Anne B. Tinder on April 28, 1965. He went to high school at Roslyn High School and graduated in 1984. He Joined the Airforce and served in Italy. He worked for the Salvation Army as a drug and alcohol intake specialist in Chicago IL before moving to Valatie NY. He enjoyed his family very much and was a loved son and brother.

He is survived by his mother Anne B. Tinder, his brothers Nathan and Matthew Jones, his nieces Lucy Grace Jones, Corinne Audrey Jones, Camille Tinder, his nephew Noah Campbell Jones his stepmother Kathi Jones, stepbrother Robert Kraus, stepsister Michelle Kraus, His Uncle Charlie Bird, and his aunt Tracy Bird, and Step sister-in-law Patti Tinder, and his cousin Harold Leonard. He is preceded in death by his father Stark G Jones and step brother Clifford Tinder.

Funeral Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Valatie on December 13th at 12:00 with Reverand Kathi Jones officiating. Followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery followed by lunch back at the church hall. Funeral services will be handled by the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie, NY.
