Marietta Libbey Dreessen, 104, of Troy, NY passed away on October 19, 2025 at her home. Born on December 15, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marie ( Buderus ) and Welding D. Libbey and the wife of the late George N. Dreessen.

Before her retirement, she was the Store Manager for Delwood Dairy in Yonkers, NY and after went on to become a Realtor in Columbia County, NY. She was a past President for the Columbia County Board of Realtors and a member of St. Luke's Church in Valatie, NY. Marietta was also an avid Gardener.

She is survived by her son George "Nick" ( Claire ) Dreessen of Fairfield, CT; a sister-in-law, Judith Dreessen of Brunswick, NY; her grandchildren, Peter J. Dreessen, William F. Dreessen and James D. Dreessen; a step grandson, Kaweha (Karen) Swan and great grandchildren, Alec Dreessen, Ryan Dreessen, Emily Dreessen, Miah Dreessen and Evelyn Swan.

Besides her parents, Marietta is also predeceased by her son, Paul H. Dreessen and her grandson, Jeremiah Dreessen.

A memorial coffee hour will be held at 11:30am, Sunday, November 9 following the regular 10:30 am church service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 1010 Kinderhook Street, Valatie, NY 12184. A private burial will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Churchtown Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie, NY.
