Victor L. Loveday, 85, of Valatie, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Ghent Nursing Home, Ghent, NY. Born in Albany, NY on December 28, 1939, he was the son of the late James and Theresa (Gallagher) Loveday and the loving husband of 26 years to Dale H. Loveday.

Before retiring, Vic worked for Owens Corning in Feura Bush, NY. He was a proud US Army Veteran.

Besides his wife Dale, he is also survived by his children, Melissa (Dennis) Kawczak of Clarksville, NY, Matthew (Erin) Loveday of Berne, NY, Jennifer (Kevin) Miller Cox of Frisco, TX and Jeffrey J. Miller of Niverville, NY; 6 grandchildren, Sean Kawczak, Caitlyn Grieco, Zachary Loveday, Garrett Cox, Spencer Cox and Emily Leonard Miller. Vic is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is also predeceased by his siblings, Bernard Gallagher, Mary VanAlstyne and Betty Orsini.

Friends are invited to a calling hour from 3 - 4 PM, Friday, at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie, with a Army military service at the conclusion.
