Ralph C. Sitcer, 83, of Valatie, NY, passed away on July 30, 2025 at the Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY. Born on August 23, 1941 in Hudson, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth ( Avery ) Sitcer.

Ralph worked at the Reilly Company in Valatie for 36 years and then at the Hannaford Warehouse in Schodack before his retirement at the age of 75. He was a lifetime member of the Valatie Fire Department and also loved fishing and camping and was the NY Yankees #1 fan.

He is survived by his 4 children, Therisa VanAllen ( Kevin ), Lisa Krupa ( James ), Michael Sitcer ( Barbara ) and Ralph Sitcer ( Robin ); 6 grandchildren, Michael and Brian Sitcer, Ryan and Lauryn Krupa, and Ashley and Keith Sitcer. Ralph is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Marion T. Sitcer and his siblings, Carrie Mae, Yvanna and Robert Sitcer.

A graveside service for Ralph will be held 11 AM, Monday, August 4, 2025 in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Valatie.
