Howard Joseph Weber Jr. (Skip), 81, of Schodack Landing, NY passed away on July 13, 2025 at his home. Born on January 17, 1944, in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Howard J. Weber Sr. and Anita May Harvey.
Skip went to school in the East Greenbush Central School District, graduating from Columbia High School in 1962. He worked for the East Greenbush Central School District for 30 years as a custodian.
He enjoyed woodworking, bowling and even got a 300 game. Skip also enjoyed golfing and NASCAR.
He is survived by his companion and caregiver of 22 years, Virginia Podlaski, who cared for him while he battled a neurological disease.
Skip is also survived by his sister, Joyce Coryell of Suffield, CT and her daughters, Tracie Lajoie and Stephanie Schreiner and his stepmother, Jane Weber of Stillwater, NY.
A thank you to the staff at St. Peter's Hospital for the care that was provided to him and also to his primary care team and staff for all that was done.
Funeral services will be private.
