Doreen and family: I am so sorry for your loss of Carol (your Mom). Carol and I were friends for many years since 1965 when we both worked at Winthrop. She was also in my wedding as I loved her dearly. I moved away but never lost touch with he and always visited her at the diner when I was home. She was a wonderful friend and I know she will be missed by many. Janice Pratt Ryan

I have known Carol since high school which, is where I met her. She was so kind and protective of a younger student (me) and we remained friends ever since then. It was always so nice to see her at the Main St. diner, and we had a chance to chat now and then. I will sincerely miss her and she will always be in my heart.

Carol was an amazing person, a fire cracker with a huge heart, and her smile lit up the room. She was the best neighbor and friend you could ever ask for and was like a grandmother to me. She was loved by everyone that pleasure to meet her and will greatly be missed.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Carol’s passing. She was always a bright light on a dark day when we needed a break and headed to the diner. She always had a kind word, made the time to chat and connect with us. We left feeling happy and cheerful. So much is lost with her passing. For those that knew her and had the same connection, may we use her as an example and strive to make our peace of the world a better place.

Such a sweet sweet lady. She worked with my grandmother at Sterling and anytime I would see her at the Diner she would remind me of how much my grandmother loved me. I am so so sorry for the families loss

God bless Carol she was always such a sweetheart, and a good friend of the family. Every time I bumped into her, she always asked me about my parents, such a thoughtful woman.
