Meghan Sue Herchenroder, 37, of Stuyvesant, NY, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2025. Born on June 15, 1987, in Hudson, Meghan was the beloved daughter of William Herchenroder Sr. and the late Stella (Hamm) Cornacchia.

Meghan graduated from Ichabod Crane Central School in 2005. She dedicated much of her life to helping others, having worked for many years as a server before transitioning to home health care, where her kindness and compassion touched the lives of those she cared for.

A lover of the outdoors, Meghan enjoyed crafting, gardening, singing, and embracing life with a playful spirit. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends, who were the center of her world. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Meghan is survived by her father, William Herchenroder; her brothers, Eric and Billy Herchenroder; and her sisters, Laura Lawton-Dillon and Mandy Hamm. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews: Deron, Jonathan, Kaitlyn, Camron, and Ian. She was predeceased by her mother, Stella, and her grandparents.

A memorial gathering will take place at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home in Valatie on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 10-12pm.
