Marcella "Sally" Jung, age 95, of Kinderhook, passed peacefully on December 1, 2024.

Born on August 20, 1929, to Raymond and Cecelia (Molinski) Czajkowski in Kinderhook.

Sally was married to the love of her life, the late Harold Jung. Together, they shared a life built on love and devotion.

Professionally, Sally worked for nearly two decades with Dr. Matthew Asbornsen in Kinderhook and also at the State Bank of Albany.

A trailblazer, Sally was among the first female members of the Kline Kill Airport and proudly participated in the Civil Air Patrol. Her adventurous spirit was matched by her tender love for nature, reflected in her beautiful gardens, which she tended with care and joy.

Predeceased by her husband Harold and her beloved cousin Mary Jane Doyle, Sally leaves behind a legacy of kindness and friendship. She will be dearly missed by her cherished friend of over 50 years, Carol Ublacker, and a large extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Friends are invited to gather in her memory at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at The Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie.

A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m., with interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Stuyvesant.

In lieu of flowers, Sally's wishes were that donations be made to AnimalKind, Hudson.
